When choosing packaged foods, steer clear of these common additives and ingredients that can sneak into your snacks:
High Fructose Corn Syrup & Refined Sugars: Hidden in everything from bread to sauces, these sugars can spike blood sugar and lead to long-term health issues.
Artificial Sweeteners (Aspartame, Sucralose, Saccharin): Often found in "diet" or "sugar-free" products, these can disrupt gut health and have been linked to negative health impacts.
Trans Fats & Hydrogenated Oils: Common in baked goods, snacks, and margarine, these unhealthy fats can increase your risk of heart disease.
